Feeling kinda moody and uninspired lately. Maybe it's because I'm staring at a wall for 6 hours, 5 days a week. Regardless, just wanted to share some photos that inspired me to get my mojo back.

Her minimalistic and architectural approach to accessories makes her jewelery modern yet timeless. Many respects to Lilla Balazs as each of her collections are handmade, designed, and sourced in London.

  

When I initially saw the first piece of the SS14 Collection, I knew right away that I was going to love it. The collection is characterized by innovative silhouettes and has an ethereal, yet still energetic atmosphere. I was intrigued by the fact that classic materials such as silk rope and leather worked in perfect harmony with high-tech materials such as pvc and acrylic. The source of inspiration behind the collection is the minimalistic architecture of the Japanese Fuse Atelier.

The SS14 Collection really hit the spot for me as I am a fan of anything with clean cut lines and leather, but all of her other collections are definitely something worth taking the time to see.

Everything and Nothing

Based off in London, Úna Burke just won me over with her SS14 collection, Everything and Nothing.The collection itself was inspired by shadow puppetry and the forms of aesthetics.

The installation was based on observations of how shadows would not be possible without light and how light would show nothing without the dense form of the puppet in front if it. It is interesting to see how positive and negatives spaces were used to create certain forms that are worn loosely around the body, which in effect gives a softer, lighter and fresher feel to the entire collection.

 It's amazing how pieces from different collections and from different designers can work so harmoniously together. Those beautiful coats from Przhonskaya doesn't exactly scream out spring/summer but the mixture of striking cobalt and pale baby blue creates a clean, crisp atmosphere. 

 It is almost the beginning of April but we still have piles of snow here. At this point, I'm ready to call it quits and just hibernate some more. But patience is virtue and before we even know it, we will be strutting down the streets, dressed in something that will scream out summer.

Slowly but surely, transitioning out of the darker hues with lighter ivory on ivory action.

Interior Aesthetics

I N S P I R A T I O N

Simplicity can be interpreted as mundane and even cold to some eyes. For me, minimal lines and  geometric shapes mean more room for creativity and inspiration. Not only is it easy on the eyes, having a clustered-free space becomes refreshing. I am not a person who favours an eclectic approach when it comes to interior designs/decorating. I tend to strictly stick to monochromatic tones (such as white, black, slate grey) and prefer clean cut lines that can be considered borderline boring. Here are some of my favourite spaces that depicts my love of aesthetics when it comes to interior spaces.
